Quick update for now. Returned from playing a few Black Unicorn shows in Seattle a little over two wks ago. First time in the Pacific Northwest and got to meet some great ppl. Sun Hammer trekked up from Portland and played a show at Josephine along w/ the equally awesome Widesky and R.M. Francis. Then to Portland and hung out w/ Dylan who runs RCN sister label Field Hymns and does great graphic design work at Tiny Little Hammers. He created the art for the upcoming final album from Brad Rose‘s The North Sea on new imprint RCN Records, images soon. Met up w/ Buffalo buddy T.J. Borden that night and played a rad show at Laughing Horse w/ Sun Hammer and another fellow whose name escapes. Next day, back to Seattle for a mind blowing finale w/ Panabrite, Mood Organ, and T.J.’s trio at Rendezvous. Beyond that had a great, busy, trip.

Karl and I were asked to take part in The Collective Soundtrack project for Akron Film. We each scored a four minute section of The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and this Thursday (August 16) there’s a free screening at the Akron Art Museum. Will upload video soon.

Two new albums are out and streaming on Bandcamp. More soon.
